Helena Palmer

Casting Director

Helena Palmer CDG is a freelance casting director with over 20 years’ experience. She began her casting career at the Royal Exchange, Manchester, before moving on to the National Theatre. From 2008 to 2021, she served as Casting Director at the Royal Shakespeare Company.

Her recent and current projects include: The Woman in Black (PW Productions, 2025/26 UK tour), In Praise of Love (Orange Tree Theatre), The Government Inspector and Anna Karenina (Chichester Festival Theatre), A Thousand Splendid Suns (Birmingham Rep / Leeds Playhouse / Nottingham Playhouse), Red or Dead (Liverpool’s Royal Court Theatre), Gigi & Dar (Arcola Theatre), An Inspector Calls (PW Productions, 2024/25 UK tour), and The Glass Menagerie (Rose Theatre Kingston and UK tour).
